We are all about colour, fun, and living by the FEEL-GOOD PHILOSOPHY, “Big Love. Big Life.”
Boom Shankar is an Australian women's fashion label based in Noosa, Queensland. We offer unique, contemporary collections with a bold, joyful and dopamine-filled aesthetic. Designed to suit women of all shapes in size 6 to 18. In fact, the name "Boom Shankar" means to be filled with joy.
Our brand is all about a sense of fun and adventure, a love of colour and design, a great respect for people and giving back to communities that give us so much!
We are passionate about ethical manufacturing and work closely with our factories in India who are an extension of the big boom family.
Customers love our world-celebrated Guru Pants, custom designed patterns and natural fibres. We are famous for our signature style of maximalist fashion prints and colour that is mixed together with a hint of retro-flavour.
Boom Shankar is the love child of our very own queen of colour, Dui Cameron. From humble beginnings, Dui has built the label from a love of colour and a philosophy of dressing to make you happy.
The brand has evolved from the early 1990s, when Dui established the first iteration of the business selling garments crafted from second-hand saris in India.
Since then, we have evolved into successful online, retail and wholesale business, spanning across Australia, New Zealand and Europe with over 20 staff members.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the colourful world of Boom Shankar. Join us in store at one our three fabulous locations in Noosa or sign up to our mailing list.
