I AM SOMEBODY: Standing together

 Jesse Jackson  the American civil rights activist, Baptist minister, and politician makes a powerful statement through his 1971 poetry reading of ‘I Am Somebody’ for Sesame Street. 

As the tragedy of George Floyd's death is felt across the US and around the world, we reflect on our own tragedies at home.

Here in Australia, 432 Indigenous Australians have died in custody since 1991. Our hearts go out to the families of these victims. We also send our love to anyone who has experienced racial discrimination. Let’s ensure we act on this desire for change beyond this current news cycle.
